Mit THE VERY BEST OF...THE STORY erscheint am 10. Oktober ein neues Best Of der Band inklusive neuer Titel.
Hits wie „True“ oder „Gold“ kennt heute noch jeder. Fünf Jahre nach ihrer Reunion veröffentlicht die New-Romantic-Band ein neues Best-Of-Album. Bereits 2009 veröffentlichten Spandau Ballet mit ONCE MORE ein Album, das allerdings enthielt lediglich zwei neue Songs und ansonsten neue Versionen von alten Tracks. Ähnlich sieht es auch bei der kommenden Veröffentlichung aus. „This Is The Love“, „Steal“ und „Soul Boy“ sind die einzigen neuen Stücke auf THE VERY BEST OF…THE STORY. Diese wurden allerdings mit Produzenten-Legende Trevor Horn aufgenommen, mit dem die Band bereits auf INSTINCTION von 1982 zusammenarbeitete.
THE VERY BEST OF…THE STORY wird in zwei Versionen erscheinen. Einmal als Einzel-, einmal als Doppel-CD in einer Deluxe-Version.
