Dezember. Lest unsere Review zum Album hier. „Adventure Of A Lifetime“, „U & Up“ und auch den Song mit Gwyneth Paltrow, „Everglow“, konnte man bereits hören – jetzt folgt der Track mit Popqueen Beyoncé. Auf „Hymn for the Weekend“ ist Queen Beys Stimme zwischen funky Perkussion zu hören.

Während eines BBC Interviews am vergangenen Momtag hat Coldplays Bassist Guy Berryman erzählt, wie die Kollaboration mit Beyoncé zustande kam: „Chris was wanting to write a sort of party song. The words were ‘Drinks on me, drinks on me.’ And we said to him, ‚You can’t say that. You can’t get away with that.‘ Then the whole story of the song changed and then he asked Beyoncé to sing on it, and she very kindly said she would. And it was amazing. She came in. She did her thing. She’s unbelievably professional. I think she was in and out in five minutes. And we are so blessed to sing on one of our songs.”
Am 8. Dezember spielen Coldplay A HEAD FULL OF DREAMS zum ersten mal live in Deutschland. Der Gig in Offenbach kann per Livestream verfolgt werden. Im Juni und Juli 2016 kommen Coldplay auf Deutschlandtour.
